Building a kite Together
All   This website has several options available. Recommend that kids work with a buddy to make one of these kites. This does have some prep time involved but would be a great project. Expand on this and have the pair write up a bio on each other and display with the kite on “Fly A Kite” Day.
Fun with Franklin All Varies Ben Franklin will always be linked with kites. Share some facts and books about Ben Franklin. This site also has science experiments and history facts about Ben Franklin. The history facts can be turned into a scavenger hunt.
Kite ideas All Varies This website has a variety of activities
If I were A Kite All 30 Min. Make up booklets that you have written the phrase, “If I were a Kite…”let the children finish the story. Share them with the parents on June 15th for “Fly A Kite” Day.
